A relative of mine, Nick, came to visit the other day. He lives across the bay from Tom and me. It was excruciatingly hot when he visited. A friend of mine, Jordan, was also visiting at the time. I might add that she and Nick would make a perfect couple. But that is beside the point… We all had a wonderful time together, except during Tom’s absence on the phone…
